Palheiro’s Spa includes an indoor swimming pool (8mx4m) & outdoor swimming pool (17mx8m), with average temperatures kept between 27-30 degrees. For something a little different, visit the Finnish sauna and Turkish steam baths, where treatments are provided by professionally qualified staff, involving the use of Pevonia Botanica and Caci products. These treatments include body massages, face treatments, reflexology and finishing treatments.

Pool heating can be provided and should be requested at least one week in advance. Should it be requested after arrival at the villa, the minimum charge applicable is one week, which is payable from the time the heating is turned on.

Surrounding area:
Many local restaurants and a supermarket are within a five-minute drive. The Palheiro Gardens right next to the holiday complex are worth a visit, with their fascinating tropical plant world. Romantic bays and sandy beaches on the coast invite you to relax. Apart from hiking and cycling tours, you can book boat and sailing trips. Or you can explore the island independently with a rental car.

Transportation:
Car hire: There is secure parking facilities available. Although not essential, as in most properties in Madeira, a hire car is recommended.
Airport transfer: Contact us in advance to schedule a private transfer car with our local partners.

After you collect your car, get onto the motorway, direction FUNCHAL for about 10 minutes and get off at exit no 15 signed to Camacha, turn right at the junction and go up the hill, then you will find a round-about (Cancela). Turn left signed to Funchal keeping the gas station on your left. At the junction keep to the right, ER 204 Funchal, carry along this road and after 1km you will find the village on the right, up on the hillside.

Cleaning:
Cleaning services during the stay, as well as the replacement of bed linen and towels, are carried out on a weekly basis. If you wish extra cleaning service this can be arrange at an extra charge.

Booking process:
The advertised prices are based on a 4-person occupancy and supplements apply should additional people join you.
To secure your reservation, a deposit of 25% is required, or the full amount if within 8 weeks of arrival, and the balance is due 1 week prior to arrival or on arrival. Should you cancel up to 4 weeks prior to arrival only the deposit is non-refundable, and within this period the full amount.
